罗观翠，女，中山大学社会学与人类学院社会学与社会工作系社会工作教育与研究中心主任。香港大学博士、新西兰威灵顿大学公共政策硕士、香港中文大学社会科学荣誉学士、香港大学潘锦溪商业研究学院管理顾问文凭，香港资深注册社工。曾任香港城市大学社会科学学部主任。出版有《社会工作实务》、《小组工作》、《A Re-Creation Process with case illustrations》、《A Study on the Community Care Patterns & the Networking Strategies of the Elderly Persons in Hong Kong Final Report》、《社区服务与社区发展》等著作/教材；曾赴美国、法国、英国、台湾、南非、澳大利亚进行学术交流，承担香港、内地研究项目20多项，发表论文60余篇，在《Women’s Studies International Forum》等国际一流期刊发表论文15篇，对于国际和国内的社区工作研究都具有重要的影响。
